# How to remove Contents or Widgets from a folder?

Remove Widgets or Content within specific folders on the Whatfix guidance dashboard to re-structure and organize content. Whatfix enables you to move the items of a folder back to the Content or Widgets section or move them to another folder on the dashboard.

Use the following steps to remove or move content within a folder:

          Note:

          

- The contents move to the **All content** section. You can also choose to move the content to another folder. Similarly, for widgets, you can move the widgets to the **All widgets** section or to another folder.
- If you don't want to move a content or widget to another folder, select **All content** or **All widgets**. The item is then removed from the folder and moves back into the same Stage where the folder resides.
