# How to see the Visibility Rules associated with an existing Tag?

Tags have certain Visibility Rules associated with them during creation, either manually or automatically through Smart Context. The Visibility Rules define the Tags and enable them to display content when and where desired. Whatfix enables you to verify and edit these Visibility Rules so that Tags are updated as needed.
