With Content Templates you can import pre-built and tested content that can be readily used when you login to your Whatfix account. This reduces your effort in creating Whatfix content from scratch and helps you show content to your end users faster.
- You can only import content templates for a new Whatfix account or any Whatfix account that does not have any content/widgets.
- Currently, Content Templates are available for Salesforce Sales Cloud, SAP Ariba and MS dynamics CRM applications.
- Currently, this feature is not supported for EU accounts.
Use the following steps to import a Content template,
- On the Whatfix dashboard, at the top right, click the Settings icon.
-
Click Import pre-built and tested content.
-
Select the Application type using the dropdown.
-
Select the Business Use Case using the dropdown.
-
Click Import.
-
In the confirmation Pop-up, click Import.
Once the import is complete, you will receive an email consisting the status of the import action with the Application type and the Business use case type details.
You can view the imported content in the Content section of the Dashboard. It is present in the Ready Stage.
- To move the content to the Production stage, click Push all to production.
You can integrate the Whatfix content using JavaScript for your end users to see the content. If you use browser extensions, the extension is automatically updated when you do a Push to Production and end users can see the content. For more information, see Push Whatfix Content to Production and Manage Extensions on the Whatfix Dashboard.
