Inserting a Link in a Flow step

Whatfix enables you to add a link in a Flow step that redirects your end users to another page or website.

Use the following steps to add a link in a Flow step,

  1. Log in to the application where you want to create content, and then launch the Whatfix Editor.

  2. Click Flow.

  3. Enter the name of the Flow as you want it displayed to the end user.

  4. Click +Step.

  5. Select the desired element on the page that the user needs to click.

  6. Review or Edit the auto-generated action text on the step.

The maximum character limits for the Purpose and Description of the step are 200 characters and 400 characters, respectively. However, you can increase the character limits by contacting [email protected].

  1. Select the text you want to attach a link to.

  2. Click the Insert Link icon.

  3. Enter the URL, and then click Insert.

  4. Once the URL is inserted, you can either Edit the link and text, or Unlink it.

    You can preview how the tooltip appears on the right side of the Whatfix Editor.

  5. Click Add Step to continue creating a Flow.
