Integrate Freshdesk with Whatfix to fetch and display articles from your Freshdesk Repository as contextual links in Self Help and Task List widgets. The integration enables you to fetch all the content or only the content from particular folders.
Use the following steps to integrate a Freshdesk Repository:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.

Click Repositories.

Click the Freshdesk tile.

Enter the title and the URL of your Repository. Specify if the URL is password-protected, and then click Next.
If the URL is password-protected, enter the username and password, and then click Next.

Choose if you want to fetch content from the whole Repository or from a specific folder.

After the Crawl options are configured, click Integrate.
Once you have created an Integration request, your Repository is listed under Integrated Repository in the Processing state.
- Once all the content is indexed, access them on the Whatfix Guidance dashboard. For more information, see View Content Repository links on the Dashboard.
- The content fetched can be added to Self Help and Task List widgets in the same way as you would add any other Whatfix content.
- If you have Smart Context enabled, you must add the global-page tag for the content to reflect in the Self Help widget on your application. For more information, see Add tags to Repository Content.
