# Integrate Zendesk Repository

Whatfix enables you to integrate Zendesk with Whatfix to fetch articles from your Zendesk Repository and display them as contextual links in Self Help and Task List widgets. Fetch all content or only content from specific folders.

Use the following steps to integrate Zendesk Repository:

3. Click the **Zendesk** tile.

4. Enter the title and URL of your Repository.

5. Specify whether your Repository is password protected or not.

6. Click **Next**.

If your Repository is password protected, enter your Zendesk username and API token. For more information on how to get your Zendesk API token, see [Generate Credentials for Zendesk Integration](/studio/docs/generate-credentials-for-zendesk-integration){target=`_blank`}.

After you enter your credentials, click **Next**.

7. Choose whether you want to fetch content from the entire Repository or from a specific folder.

Select the <strong>Specific content</strong> option.

Specify what kind of URLs you want to crawl using the URL rules.

| URL rule | Explanation |
| --- | --- |
| Starts With | Crawls a URL if it starts with the specified text. |
| Ends With | Crawls a URL if it ends with the specified text. |
| Equals | Crawls a URL if it equals the specified text exactly. |
| Not Equals | Crawls a URL if it does not equal the specified text. |
| Contains | Crawls a URL if the specified text is part of the URL. |
| Not Contains | Crawls a URL is the specified text is not part of the URL. |

Combine multiple rules using AND and OR operators by clicking <strong>Add More</strong>.

8. After the crawler option is configured, click **Integrate**.

Once the Integration request is created, the Repository appears under the Integrated Repositories in the **Processing** state.

* Once all the content is indexed, access it on the Whatfix dashboard.

* The Repository links fetched appear in Self Help and Task List in the same manner as Whatfix links.
* If you have Smart Context enabled, add the global-page tag for the content to reflect in the Self Help widget on your application. For more information, see [Add Repository Content to Self Help and Task List](/studio/docs/add-repository-content-to-self-help){target="_blank"}.

:::(Warning) (Note:)
* The Repository links are available in the Ready stage only after a sync of all crawled content from your repository to Whatfix.
* You cannot move the links to the Draft stage or edit them. In the Ready stage, you can edit only tags and search keywords.
* Once you push the Repository links to the Production stage, you cannot move them back to the Ready or Draft stages like the other Whatfix content and widgets.
* Unlike other content and widgets that you can tag in the Draft stage, you can tag the Repository links only in the Ready stage.
