# Is Blocker WCAG compliant?

Yes, Blockers follow Accessibility guidelines and are WCAG compliant.

Here’s how end users with accessibility needs can effectively interact with Blockers:

## Accessing the tooltip

A tooltip appears either on click for **Invisible blocker**or on hover for**Visible blocker** on the selected element in the application.

End users who use assistive technologies such as screen readers are nudged to click `CTRL+I` (Windows) or `CMD+I` (macOs) to move the focus of the screen reader inside the tooltip. This mechanism helps the screen reader read out the content to the end user.

## Closing the tooltip

To enable the screen reader to move out of the focused tooltip, end users need to press the `Esc` key or click the close icon on the tooltip. The focus of the screen reader immediately moves on to the next interactive element, outside the tooltip, on the application page.

The practice of creating Whatfix content, such as Flows, Pop-ups, Smart Tips, and other in-app guidance—in a way that people of all abilities can perceive, understand, and use. This includes ensuring that Whatfix works with assistive technologies and follow accessibility best practices so all users can interact with content and widgets.
