# Link a Flow to a Beacon

Whatfix enables you to link an existing Flow to a Beacon. End users have the option to either view the Flow or skip it. Linking Flows to a Beacon helps you provide additional guidance to your users.

Linking a Flow to a Beacon is a two-step process:

## Find the Flow ID

Follow these steps to find the Flow ID:

Note

In this case, the Flow ID is **33f7a870-330e-11ec-98fc-32b5f385aed9**.

## Link the Flow to the Beacon

Follow these steps to link the Flow to the Beacon:

1. Click the **Edit** button on the Beacon you want to attach the Flow.

2. Select the text to which you want to link a Flow.

3. In the action menu, click the **Insert Link** icon.

4. In the URL field, enter the Flow ID in the following format:  
wfx-{FlowID}  
where Flow ID is the information copied in Step 2.  
your title goes here

  - Example : To insert the Flow that was identified above, the URL to be entered is wfx-33f7a870-330e-11ec-98fc-32b5f385aed9.

  - If you want the inserted link to open in a new tab, then click the **Open in new tab** checkbox.

5. Click **Insert**.

6. Click **Save Step**.
