The following steps show you how you can integrate Whatfix content to an LMS platform. We are using the SAP Litmos platform as an example. Other LMS platforms should involve similar steps.
Use the following steps to perform an LMS integration on the SAP Litmos platform:
Step 1: Download the SCORM or xAPI package
Step 2: Perform the LMS Integration
Only Admin can create the course content on the SAP Litmos platform.
Step 1: Download the SCORM or xAPI package
As a prerequisite, download the SCORM or xAPI package from the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard. For more information, see SCORM package export.
Step 2: Perform the LMS Integration
-
On the SAP Litmos dashboard, click Content.
-
Click Create a course.
-
Enter the Title and the Description of the course.
-
Click Save.
-
Click Add Modules.
-
Click Choose a file and then upload the SCORM or xAPI package.
-
Enter the Title and the Description of the module.
-
Click Save.
The following image shows the SAP Litmos platform after the integration is complete.
-
Multiple Flows can be included within a single SCORM package.
-
These Flows appear sequentially in a collapsible navigation panel on the left side of the learner view within the LMS.
-
The order of the Flows integrated in the module is same as the order in which the Flows appear on the dashboard.
-
The user has to complete all the Flows in the SCORM or xAPI package to complete the module.
