# Preview pop-ups

Use **Preview mode** in the Whatfix Studio to preview Pop-ups before publishing them to production. This helps you test the appearance and behavior of the Pop-ups on your application to ensure they function as intended for your end users.

Use the following steps to preview a Pop-up:

1. Log in to your application and then launch the [**Whatfix Studio**](/studio/docs/how-to-install-the-whatfix-editor). ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/CLM_editor plug in.png)

1. Click **Enter**.

1. Refresh your browser to preview the Pop-up.

Note:

- If you set the occurrence count for a Pop-up to one and then preview it before pushing it to Production, the occurrence gets exhausted and the Pop-up doesn't appear.
- To see the Pop-up again, you must increase the occurrence count. For more information, see [Schedule a Pop-up](/studio/docs/scheduling-pop-ups).

Info:

As per the latest updates to [Manifest V3](https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/develop/migrate#remotely-hosted-code) (MV3), you cannot use the [Preview mode](/studio/docs/how-to-use-preview-mode-to-review-content) to preview Advanced Customization (AC) code changes on Whatfix Studio.

To preview such changes, Whatfix has introduced a Preview extension. This extension enables you to test any AC code used to achieve certain out-of-the-box capabilities.
