# Preview Task List

Preview a Task List segment using **Preview Mode** before publishing it and making it available for your end users. Previewing Task List enables you to test and experience the segment exactly like your end users. 

Use the following steps to preview a Task List segment:

1. Go to the application where you have configured the Task List to appear.

2. Click the Whatfix Studio plugin on your browser toolbar to launch Studio.

3. On the top, next to the account information dropdown, click the **Preview** icon.

4. On the confirmation pop-up, click **Enter**.

    :::(Warning) (Note:)
    * When you complete a task from the Task List in the Preview mode, check marks don't appear against the task. 
    * The task does not appear as completed in Analytics. For more information, see [Task List Analytics](/studio/docs/task-list-analytics){target="_blank"}.
    * You cannot use the Preview mode to test the Sequential Task List.

5. Refresh the page to Preview the Task List widget on the application.

    After you preview the widget and disable the preview mode, ensure you refresh the page to reflect the changes.
