Flow Feedback when enabled, captures user feedback for every Flow in your application. Whatfix uses Google Analytics(GA) to capture this information into your account. This feature highlights how helpful a Flow is by collecting their comments in a text format.

Once enabled, the Feedback option is displayed on all the Flows. Flow Feedback has the following three scenarios:

Option Description
YES This implies the Flow was helpful to the user and this information is stored in GA.
NO On selecting "NO" the user is presented with a text box to add their comments about the Flow. These comments are captured to GA.
CLOSE The Flow is closed without any feedback. This is captured in GA as well. If the user closes the Pop-up without making a YES/NO selection, "OPT-OUT" feedback is given for that Flow.

Enabling/Disabling feedback

  1. Navigate to the Whatfix dashboard.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Click Configuration.
  4. On the Theme tab, click the End Message tab.
  5. On the right, select the End Message checkbox.
  6. Enable/Disable feedback using the Feedback checkbox.
    • To enable feedback, select the Feedback checkbox.
    • To disable feedback, unselect the Feedback checkbox.
  7. Click Save.

Checking Feedback

For all the Flows with feedback enabled, it is captured into Google Analytics(GA). Please note that GA configuration needs to be done for your account before you can see the reports. More details on how to set up your account for GA, see Whatfix Analytics.

Once analytics has been enabled on your account, Flow Feedback report for your application is displayed in your dashboard.  The below image gives an overview of how the report looks like.

Each of the user's comment when they click no is displayed in this report. The report also shows which Flow had how many YES and NO.

For export account, the Flow feedback feature is enabled or disabled based on the configuration at the time of export.
