# Help users find content using search keywords

Search keywords are keywords that can be attached to Whatfix content that are considered by Explorer's search algorithm while retrieving relevant content.

Search keywords are configurable for the following content types:

- **Flows** ![flow_search_keywords.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/flow_search_keywords.png)
- **Static content**: Images, PDFs, links, Videos, and Articles ![image_keywords.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/image_keywords.png)

Here are some use cases of search keywords:

- Add synonyms of the words in the title of your content as search keywords. For example, if your Flow contains the word **Document**, you may want to add **Article** as a search keyword. This enables Explorer to retrieve the Flow whether the end user types "Document" or "Article" in their search query.
- Check the [Analytics of your Self Help segments](/studio/docs/self-help-analytics) to find out which search queries have resulted in an unsuccessful search, and then add the search query terms to the relevant content.
