# Self Help customizations do not appear on the application

### Issue

Customizations made to the Self Help widget, such as changes to the icon, position, animations, and more, are not visible on the page.

### Cause

The customization changes are not published to Production.

### Solution

Once you save your Self Help customizations, you must **Publish** the changes for them to appear to end users. For more information, see [Should I Publish any content changes?](/studio/docs/should-i-do-a-push-to-production-for-any-content-changes)
