# Set When your Content or Widget Appears with the new Visibility Rules

Using the new Visibility Rules experience, Whatfix enables you to configure when you want to start showing your widget. For example, choose to show a Pop-up from a certain date after the user has completed a Survey.

| Start Condition | Description |
| --- | --- |
| [Specific date range](/studio/docs/show-content-based-on-a-specific-date) | Use this condition to show the widget from a certain date and time. |
| [Something on the application](/studio/docs/show-content-based-on-something-seen-on-the-app) | Use this condition to show the widget based on the presence of a particular element (other than the one selected by you) on your web page. |
| [User performing an action](/studio/docs/show-content-based-on-user-performing-an-action) | Use this condition to show the widget based on the completion of a User Action. |
