# Show content based on events related to Whatfix content

Using the new Visibility Rules experience, Whatfix enables you to trigger a widget based on callbacks made by existing Whatfix content or widgets. For example, show a Survey right after the user completes an onboarding Flow to ask them for feedback.

Use the following steps to display your widget based on a linked content:

> - If you’re using the Events related to Whatfix Content condition, all other Visibility Rules are cleared.

> - Whatfix enables you to use this condition only for Popups and Surveys

1. In the Visibility Rules section for your widget, click **When does the pop up start and stop appearing?**

2. Using the **What causes the pop up to appear?** dropdown, select **Events related to Whatfix Content**.

3. Select your **Content type** using the dropdown. Whatfix enables you to trigger content based on the following content types:

  - **Flow**
  - **Popup**
  - **Survey**

> Info:
> 
> If you select **Launcher** as the trigger, the widget is shown when the Launcher is clicked. Ensure that you link this widget to the Launcher when creating it.

1. Click **Content**.

2. Select the content you want to act as the trigger.

3. Click **Add**.

4. From the **Event** dropdown, select the trigger event related to the selected content. For more information on the various content and their related triggers, see [List of Events for Linked Content](/studio/docs/list-of-events-for-linked-content).

> If you’ve selected a Flow-based event, select the step that you want to use as a trigger using the **Step** dropdown.

1. Once you have added all the required Visibility Rules, click **Save**.
