# Smart Tips appear randomly

##  Issue
Smart Tips appear at different places randomly even though the Smart Tips are not created for that element.

## Probable Causes
* The same element is present on multiple pages.
* The original element for which the Smart Tip is created is moved to a different page or deleted.
* Smart Tips are enabled without any Display Rules.
* Smart Tips don't include the correct combination of **Trigger scenarios** when they are configured on similar elements. 
* Smart Context is not configured.

## Suggested Solutions
* If the same element is present on multiple pages, then you can restrict it to specific pages using the Display Rules when creating the Smart Tip. For more information, see [Visibility and Display Rule Conditions](/studio/docs/visibility-and-display-rule-conditions-1){target=`_blank`}.
* If the original element for which the Smart Tip is created is deleted, then the Smart Tip itself can be deleted as it serves no purpose anymore.
* If the Smart Tip appears on the similar element for which you've not configured, use **Trigger** scenarios. Use **Based on Property** scenario and then configure suitable **Data Type** and **If element value**. Add more such scenarios based on the elements on which you want to show the Smart Tips.

* If the original Smart Tip is moved to a new page, then create a new Smart Tip collection if required or use Display Rules to restrict the Smart Tip to appear only on that page.
