# Translate Custom Labels of Survey

When you translate a Whatfix Survey, it's only the content that you add as text that is translated. This UI text is called Custom Labels. Whatfix enables you to translate these custom labels in the UI so that they are consistent with the rest of the content and adhere to the branding guidelines of your organization. For example, you can change the default Survey text field **Type here** to its German version **Geben Sie hier ein**.

Use the following steps to translate Custom labels:

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
