# Unable to delete content or widget

## Issue

You are unable to delete content or widgets on the CLM dashboard.

## Probable Causes

- Your assigned [Whatfix User Role](/studio/docs/whatfix-user-roles) doesn't enable you to delete content or widgets in the Production stage. Only an **Account Manager** can perfom delete actions.
- Content and widgets can only be deleted when they are in the **Draft** or **Ready** stages.

## Suggested Solution
