Overview
Once your account is migrated to the Unified Content Experience, the content and its associated widget are in different stages, or a single content item has multiple widgets associated with it. These cases require manual resolution.
This article covers all such scenarios and provides step-by-step instructions to bring your content to a consistent state.
Impacted content types post migration
The scenarios in this article apply only to the following content types:
Smart Tips
Beacons
Launchers
Blockers
Note:
Pop-ups, Surveys, Self Help, and Task Lists are not affected by this migration.
This is a one-time activity
The scenarios described in this article apply only to content that existed before migration. Once you resolve the mismatch, no further action is needed. New content created after migration is not affected.
Expand the following scenarios to understand how to resolve the content and visibility rule migration:
Scenario 1: Content is in Production, but Visibility Rules are in Ready, Draft, or Archive
This content is in Production, but its Visibility Rules (Widget) are in a different stage. The stages don't match.

Scenario 2: Content is in Ready, but Visibility Rules are in Production
This content is in Ready, but its Visibility Rules (Widget) are in Production. The stages don't match.

Scenario 3: Content is in Ready, but Visibility Rules are in Archive
This content is in Ready, but its Visibility Rules (Widget) are in Archive. The stages don't match.

Scenario 4: Content is in Draft, but Visibility Rules are in Production
This content is in Draft, but its Visibility Rules (Widget) are in Production or Archive. The stages don't match.

Scenario 5: Content (Production)—Multiple Visibility Rule Sets
This content is in Production and has multiple Visibility Rule sets (Widgets) associated with it. In the Unified Content Experience, only one visibility rule set can be retained per content item.

Scenario 6: Content (Ready or Draft)—Multiple Visibility Rule Sets
This content is in Ready or Draft and has multiple Visibility Rule sets (Widgets) associated with it. In the Unified Content Experience, only one visibility rule set can be retained per content item.

Scenario 7: Content (Archive)—Multiple Visibility Rule Sets
This content is in Archive and has multiple Visibility Rule sets (Widgets) associated with it. In the Unified Content Experience, only one visibility rule set can be retained per content item.

Scenario 8: Content (Archive)—Visibility Rules (Production)
This content is in Archive, but its Visibility Rules (Widget) are still active in Production. The stages don't match.
