Note:
  • Video channel authorization is a one time process.
  • Once the channel is authorized, all the existing Flows get uploaded irrespective of the stages they are present in, that is, Draft, Ready, or Production.
  • If you no longer want the Draft or Ready stage Flows after they are uploaded, you have to manually delete the video from your video channel.
  • The next time you create a new Flow, you need to push the Flow to Production for Whatfix to upload the Flow as video to your video channel.
Info:
After authorizing your video channel, here's how to check the uploading status of your videos.

a. On the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard, click Content.

b. Click Uploading to check the uploading status. Dashboard_Uploading_Flows

Whatfix enables you to check the uploading status of the Flow videos.  Dashboard_Uploading_Status

Here’s an overview of the various video uploading statuses and what they mean.
Understand video uploading statuses:

Note:
  • Your Flows are not connected to the videos on the video platform. If you delete your Flows or change the theme, it has no impact on the uploaded video.
  • If you edit a Flow and save the changes, a new updated video is created only after it's published. However, the old video remains in the respective video platform. You have to manually delete or unlist it.
  • When a Flow is translated, the video in the translated language is uploaded only when the content is published.
  • When you translate content, Whatfix uploads a new video for the translated content as soon as it is published.
  • If your video account is delinked from Whatfix, then any new Flows that are created are not uploaded to the channel. However, Flows that are already uploaded remain as they are.
