# Use a Dynamic URL for a Pop-up

Whatfix enables you to use dynamic URLs in Pop-ups. A dynamic URL automatically adjusts based on specific variables, such as the website domain or environment. This ensures that the URL in your Pop-up remains valid, even if part of the domain changes. For instance, set a dynamic URL that automatically adapts when the subdomain switches from https://dev.example.com to https://example.com, without needing to manually update the URL.

Use the following steps to add dynamic URLs for Whatfix Pop-ups:

4. Hover your cursor over the button and then click to open the **Button Configuration Menu**.
