# Use One-click Extensions on Internet Explorer

One-click Extensions on Internet Explorer enables you to generate and update your IE extensions on your own from the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard.

- Existing users of the Internet Explorer (IE) or Microsoft Edge extension, no longer see the **PUSH TO PRODUCTION** option.
- To update your IE extension, you need to enable and generate the extension once before you can update it. The following instructions show you how.

One-click Extensions empower you to manage all your content updates to the browser without needing to depend on the Whatfix support team.

Use the following steps to enable and manage One-click Extensions on Internet Explorer (IE):

1. Go to the **Extensions** tab, and on the IE extension card, click the **Generate** button.

- The first time you generate the extension, there's a **Generate** button.
- You don't have to manually update your IE extension every time you update your Whatfix content. When you push your Whatfix content and widgets to the Production stage, your IE extension is automatically updated. - You receive an email once your extension is updated.
