Task Lists enable you to create a list of to-do tasks for your end users to help them kickstart their onboarding process. Expand the following accordions for more details: Task List in Hub **Overview** Task List is now part of the unified Hub widget (previously called Self Help). It appears as a new tab alongside [Self Help](/studio/docs/what-is-self-help), [Feedback](/studio/docs/feedback), and [Integrate Chatbot in Improved Self Help](/studio/docs/chatbot-support-in-improved-self-help), enabling users to view, track, and complete assigned tasks within the same widget. ![Hub unified panel task list](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Hub%20Unified%20Panel_Task%20List.png) Note: Hub is a Beta feature. To enable this feature for your account, contact [support@whatfix.com](http://mailto:support@whatfix.com?subject=Request%20to%20enable%20unified%20Hub%20experience%20&body=Hi%20team%2C%0A%0APlease%20enable%20Hub%20for%20our%20account.%20%0A%0AThanks). **Tasks** Tasks are individual to-do items that guide end users through onboarding steps, feature adoption, configuration workflows, and more. ![Task List Tasks](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Hub%20Panel_Task%20List_Tasks.png) --- **When the Task List tab Appears on Hub** The Task List tab appears on Hub only when at least one Task List segment evaluates true for users on a given page. Refer to the following scenarios: - If no Task List segment evaluates true → Task List tab is hidden. - If one or more segments evaluate true → Task List tab is shown. - If users complete all tasks in the current Task List segment: - If another Task List segment then evaluates true → the next eligible Task List segment loads on application page refresh, and the Task List tab remains visible. - If no other Task List segment evaluates true → Task List tab disappears on application page refresh. Task Lists support: - Standalone tasks - Groups (folders) containing tasks Info: Task List does not support nested Groups. Use Groups to organize related tasks. For example, multiple onboarding tasks for a new product. Groups in Task List Hub: - Display the number of tasks within a Group - Update counts instantly when users complete a task - Enable users to open Groups, and then view and complete assigned tasks ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Hub_Groups.gif) --- **Task Status Filters and Completion Behavior** In the Task List tab, users can filter tasks with the **All**, **To do**, and **Completed** status filters. Old Task List The Task List engages and reminds end users to complete the tasks at hand by enabling them to self-track their individual progress against their assigned tasks. When a task is completed, a green checkmark appears next to the task. A Task List, when enabled, can be accessed from the Task List icon present on your application. The default position is on the bottom left, but it can be [configured](/studio/docs/configure-task-list) to display on the lower right as well. ![clm_task list](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/clm_task%20list.png) The following are some use cases of Task Lists: - **New user onboarding**: Train new users to carry out basic tasks in your application. - **New employee onboarding**: Create a list of activities that need to be completed by the employee. - **New feature communication**: Introduce a new feature in an interactive way by adding a task related to the new feature in the Task List. **Note**: Task Lists can be segmented and shown based on profiles, tabs, or other UI variables.
