A Test case helps you to check that all your Flows are in a working state - at regular intervals. Testing your Flows ensures that your customers are not facing broken experiences. You have enough information to proactively fix any broken flows based on the Test case reports.
When a Flow is tested, there may be steps at which your users are expected to make a selection or provide an entry. A Test case when created, ensures that all this necessary information is captured so that the test does not fail due to missing information.
Auto Testing runs a Test case as an end user would run a Flow. If there are any changes to the application since the time the Flow was created, the Test case identifies the broken steps.
You must provide user inputs while creating Test cases. For example, if you create a Flow that includes filling fields in a form, then all the required fields need to be filled in the Test case.
User input is used while verifying Test cases to ensure that steps that require input are successful.
