# What's the maximum limit for Flow steps?

You can have as many as 50 steps in a Flow. This number cannot be increased by any configuration.

However, if you still need to create a flow with more than 50 steps, then the workaround is to use branched Flows instead. Branching enables you to guide users through several possible paths.

There are two ways to create branched Flows:

- Create a branched Flow while creating the main Flow.
- Import an existing Flow. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/clm_branching_create or import flow.png)
