Create Desktop Wallpaper Communication

Use the following steps to create Pop-ups using the DAP on OS Dashboard:

3. Click Create widget.

   

4. Click Pop Up.

   

5. Select the Desktop wallpaper Pop-up template.

   

6. Click the Untitled Pop-up text on top and enter a name for the wallpaper.

   

7. Click Upload image.

   

Note:

• Ensure your custom image is 1920×1200 resolution or a 16:10 ratio and in .png format.

• Use a higher-resolution image for larger desktop screens but maintain the 16:10 ratio to ensure proper display.

8. Paste the embed URL of the image you want to insert or upload an image from your local drive or Whatfix Gallery.

   

Info:

• Click Replace to select and upload a different image.

• Click the Delete icon to remove the currently selected image.

  

8. Under the Set as section, select any one of the following options: Lock screen, Home screen or Both lock screen and home screen.

   

Note:

On Windows, set an image for the Home screen, Lock screen, or both. On Mac, a single image is used for both screens.

10. Toggle between Windows and Mac icons to preview how it appears on each Operating System.

    

11. Preview how the image looks as Lock screen or Home screen by selecting either the Lock screen or Home screen buttons.

    

Use the following steps to configure a Pop-up:

1. In the Visibility rules section, click Set Visibility rules.

   

2. Set the When does the pop up start and stop appearing and Who does the pop up appear to for the Desktop Wallpaper Notification to appear. For more information, see Visibility Rule Conditions for Pop-ups.

   

3. Click Save.

   

4. Once you are done creating the Desktop Screen Communication, select the widget, and then click Send to ready.

   

5. Go to the Ready Stage and select the widget you want to move to Production Stage, and then click Push to production.
