Each language variant exists within the same Workflow, enabling you to deliver localized training experiences to your learners in their preferred language without manually creating separate Workflows. For example, if you are onboarding employees across different regions to the same application, you can add a language variant for each region and select the corresponding language variant when sharing the Workflow with learners in that region. Whatfix Studio navigates the application and re-captures each Mirror Screen in the selected language, so the Workflow structure stays the same while the onscreen text reflects the correct language. > [!NOTE] > Info: > > Multi-Language support in Mirror applies to Workflows, Workflows within a Simulation, and Assessments. Expand the following accordions for more details: ****Step 1: Add a Language**** > [!WARNING] > Note: > > - Only an **Account Manager** can perform the following task. For more information about available roles, see [Whatfix User Roles](/studio/docs/whatfix-user-roles). > - You can create localized versions only for supported languages. For more information, see [Languages supported by Whatfix](/studio/docs/languages-supported-by-whatfix). Add a language to your Whatfix Guidance Dashboard to enable localized versions of a Workflow. Once added, the language becomes available as an option for Whatfix Studio to automatically re-capture the Workflow in the selected language. If you do not add a language, it does not appear as an option during the capture process. Use the following steps to add a language: 1. On the [Whatfix Guidance Dashboard](/docs/overview-of-the-whatfix-dashboard), click **Settings**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Mirror_Guidance_Db_Click_Settings.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T11%3A23%3A25Z&se=2026-10-29T12%3A23%3A25Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=FSfbeRdGNJMrDOAvFri7ciwAPVKDoVTmpV%2FLdOmS%2FN8%3D) 2. If the application is not set to the correct language, Whatfix Studio will not capture the Mirror Screens in the selected language. > - Before you create a Language Variant, ensure that you have created and captured a Workflow. You can create one Language Variant at a time; repeat the steps in this section for each additional language. After you add a Language Variant, Whatfix Studio automatically re-captures the Mirror Screens in the selected language. The Workflow structure and screen sequence remain unchanged, while the onscreen text reflects the selected language. Use the following steps to automate the capture of a Workflow in a different language variant: 1. Launch **Whatfix Studio** on your application. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/CLM_editor plug in(2)(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T11%3A23%3A25Z&se=2026-10-29T12%3A23%3A25Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=FSfbeRdGNJMrDOAvFri7ciwAPVKDoVTmpV%2FLdOmS%2FN8%3D) 2. For more information, see [Overview of the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard](/mirror/docs/overview-of-the-whatfix-mirror-dashboard). > [!WARNING] > Note: > > - After you create a Mirror, preview the Mirror to ensure your Workflow functions as required. For more information, see [Preview a Mirror](/mirror/docs/preview-a-mirror-screen). > - Share the Mirror to make it accessible to your learners. For more information, see [Share Whatfix Mirror](/mirror/docs/share-whatfix-mirror). Whatfix Mirror is an application simulation software that provides an immersive and interactive simulation of any web application. A version of the default language variant captured in a different language. Language variants are stored within the same workflow and share the same stage. A sequence of captured mirror screens representing a specific user journey or process (e.g., "How to create a Lead in Salesforce?"). Whatfix Studio is a browser plug-in that enables you to create various types of Whatfix content, such as Flows, Smart Tips, Beacons, and so on. The plug-in can be installed on Google Chrome and the new Microsoft Edge browsers. A replica of an application screen captured based on a UI element. A feature that enables you to connect and link multiple Mirror Workflows to represent a complex user journey across an application or ecosystem. Workflows added to a simulation are automatically linked. An interactive evaluation created by using existing Simulations to measure how proficiently end users complete tasks without assistance.
