Duplication copies the structure and content of the original Mirror, so you can reuse existing work instead of creating a new Workflow or Simulation from scratch. This is useful when you need to create versions for different teams, environments, or scenarios. For example, duplicate a Mirror Workflow or Simulation to reuse existing content and make minor adjustments without recreating the Workflow or Simulation. You can also duplicate a Simulation to test changes in the Draft stage without affecting the version already in Production. > [!WARNING] > Note: > > - Only users with **Account Manager** and **Content Manager** roles can access and view the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard. > - You can duplicate Workflows and Simulations only in the **Draft** and **Ready** stages. > - To duplicate a Workflow or Simulation in the **Production** stage, select the Workflow or Simulation and click **Edit in Draft**. This creates a Draft version while keeping the Production version unchanged. > > ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Mirror_Production_Edit_in_Draft.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T12%3A18%3A16Z&se=2026-10-29T13%3A18%3A16Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=onfjjngSaoJSIYjfv%2FoxtZvyiknRv%2B9nbqPpt2UGoaM%3D) > [!NOTE] > Info: > > - By default, Workflows inside a Simulation are interconnected through Playground Mode. For more information, see [Understand Playground Mode](/mirror/docs/understand-playground-mode) and [Disable Playground Mode](/mirror/docs/disable-playground-mode). Use the following steps to duplicate a Workflow or Simulation: 1. On the [Whatfix Mirror Dashboard](/mirror/docs/how-can-i-access-the-whatfix-mirror-dashboard), hover your cursor over the Workflow or Simulation that you want to duplicate. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Mirror%20Dashboard_Content_Hover.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T12%3A18%3A16Z&se=2026-10-29T13%3A18%3A16Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=onfjjngSaoJSIYjfv%2FoxtZvyiknRv%2B9nbqPpt2UGoaM%3D) 2. Whatfix Mirror is an application simulation software that provides an immersive and interactive simulation of any web application. A sequence of captured mirror screens representing a specific user journey or process (e.g., "How to create a Lead in Salesforce?"). A feature that enables you to connect and link multiple Mirror Workflows to represent a complex user journey across an application or ecosystem. Workflows added to a simulation are automatically linked. A mode within Simulation that facilitates the connection and interaction of workflows within the simulated environment. Playground mode is enabled by default. An interactive evaluation created by using existing Simulations to measure how proficiently end users complete tasks without assistance. An AI-powered learning experience that combines a Mirror Workflow with an AI Roleplay to help learners practice application processes and real-world conversations in a simulated environment.
