Preview an Assessment

Whatfix enables you to preview an Assessment to confirm that the captured Mirror Screens appear as expected. This helps identify any issues before sharing the Assessment with your end users.

Use Preview assessment to verify the following:

• Screens appear in the correct sequence.

• All selected UI components are captured correctly.

• Navigation between steps work as expected.

• Guidance content cues such as Smart Tips and Flows don’t appear.

Note:

• Only Assessments in the Ready and Production stages can be previewed.

• To preview Assessments in Ready, perform similar steps as follows in the Ready stage.

Use the following steps to preview an Assessment:

1. On the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard, select the Simulation that includes the Assessment you want to preview.

   

2. Click Preview assessment.

   

   Info:

   The Assessment opens in a new browser tab and displays how the Assessment appears to your end users.

Note:

• When you preview an Assessment, the experience reflects what your end users see. However, analytics or tracking data are not captured during preview. For more information, see Assessment Analytics.

• Once you preview the Assessment and confirm the end-user experience, share the Assessment to evaluate how effectively your end users complete tasks without guidance. For more information, see Share an Assessment.
