Task Lists with Whatfix Mirror is Task list within the mirrored web application. This ensures zero errors in the live application and eases the onboarding process for new employees.
Consider a scenario where there is an implementation of a new software system across departments. To ensure an effective use of the software, create a mirrored application of the web application and then add a Task List to the mirrored application with the mandatory tasks that an employee must complete.
A Task List, when enabled, can be accessed from the Task List icon present on your mirrored application. The default position is on the bottom left, but it can be configured to display on the lower right as well.
Use cases
-
New employee onboarding: A list of activities that need to be completed by new employees in the mirrored application to deliver a consistent onboarding and training experience.
-
Learning a Process: A list of activities that involves a process (step-by-step tasks) that must be completed by your employees under a strict time period. For example, uploading necessary documents on a payment portal. This task can be performed in a sequence on the mirrored application of the payment portal.
Task Lists can be segmented and shown based on profiles, tabs, or other UI variables. For more information, see Segmentation.
