Previewing the Simulation helps you validate navigation between Mirror Screens, check how Workflows connect, and confirm Playground Mode behaviour. This ensures the Simulation behaves as intended for your learners. For more information, see [Understand Playground Mode](/mirror/docs/understand-playground-mode). > [!WARNING] > Note: > > You can preview a Simulation when it is in the **Draft**, **Ready**, or **Production** stages. Expand the following accordions for more details: ****Preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is enabled**** Use preview to verify the following when [Playground Mode](/mirror/docs/understand-playground-mode) is enabled: - Learners can move freely between connected Workflows. - Mirror Links appear only on the Mirror Screens where those elements were captured. - No unexpected navigation between Mirror Screens occurs. > [!WARNING] > Note: > > When Playground Mode is enabled, preview the Simulation from the Workflow you intend to use as the landing Workflow. For more information, see [Understand Playground Mode](/mirror/docs/understand-playground-mode). The following GIF demonstrates how to preview a Simulation when Playground Mode is enabled. When multiple Mirror Links are available, a learner can move between Mirror Screens of connected Workflows through different navigational paths. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Preview%20a%20Simulation%20with%20Playground%20Mode.gif?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T12%3A17%3A15Z&se=2026-10-29T13%3A17%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=X48Ps6nLvxNSivQgIP%2B7cKsd1V2P%2FimmEkLZkwVAKJA%3D) Use the following steps to preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is enabled: 1. On the [Whatfix Mirror Dashboard](/mirror/docs/how-can-i-access-the-whatfix-mirror-dashboard), click the Simulation you want to preview. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Mirror_Db_Hover_Simulation.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T12%3A17%3A15Z&se=2026-10-29T13%3A17%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=X48Ps6nLvxNSivQgIP%2B7cKsd1V2P%2FimmEkLZkwVAKJA%3D) 2. The following GIF demonstrates how to preview a Simulation when Playground Mode is disabled. With Playground Mode disabled, a learner can move between Mirror Screens in a single fixed path because only one Mirror Link is available at a time. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Preview%20Simulation.gif?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T12%3A17%3A15Z&se=2026-10-29T13%3A17%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=X48Ps6nLvxNSivQgIP%2B7cKsd1V2P%2FimmEkLZkwVAKJA%3D) Use the following steps to preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is disabled: 1. A feature that enables you to connect and link multiple Mirror Workflows to represent a complex user journey across an application or ecosystem. Workflows added to a simulation are automatically linked. A replica of an application screen captured based on a UI element. A sequence of captured mirror screens representing a specific user journey or process (e.g., "How to create a Lead in Salesforce?"). A mode within Simulation that facilitates the connection and interaction of workflows within the simulated environment. Playground mode is enabled by default. A Mirror link redirects users to different Mirror pages. Links are automatically created between Mirror screens while they are being captured. Mirror also enables you to manually link Mirror screens. A version of the default language variant captured in a different language. Language variants are stored within the same workflow and share the same stage.
