This enables a safe, realistic user experience for training, testing, and demonstrations. Whatfix Mirrors function independently of the Whatfix Digital Adoption Platform (DAP), so your learners do not need to install or embed Whatfix to interact with the Mirror. However, if the Mirror contains DAP Guidance, Whatfix is required. For more information, see [DAP Guidance on Mirror](/mirror/docs/dap-guidance-on-mirror). > [!WARNING] > Note: > > Whatfix Mirror supports end-user authentication through Single Sign-on (SSO) for learners managed in your Identity Provider (IdP), Email-Based Authentication for external learners outside your IdP, or both. When no authentication is configured, the Mirror is publicly accessible. For more information, see [Set Up End-User Authentication](/mirror/docs/set-up-end-user-authentication) and [Set Up Email-Based Authentication](/mirror/docs/set-up-email-based-authentication). When you publish a Mirror Simulation, learners can access the included Workflows based on the Playground Mode configuration. When Playground Mode is enabled (default): Learners experience all included Workflows together in sequence as a single end-to-end learning experience. When Playground Mode is disabled: Learners access each Workflow individually. Use the following steps to publish a Mirror Simulation: 1. Whatfix Mirror is an application simulation software that provides an immersive and interactive simulation of any web application. Single Sign-on is a user authentication method that allows users to log in to multiple applications and websites with one set of credentials. An Identity Provider (IdP) is an authority system that holds and verifies the user authentication information. Whatfix interacts with your IdP and trusts the information provided by the IdP to gain access to the application. Whatfix supports the following identity providers: Okta, Azure Active Directory, or any identity provider compliant with SAML 2.0 that works with Whatfix SSO. A sequence of captured mirror screens representing a specific user journey or process (e.g., "How to create a Lead in Salesforce?"). A feature that enables you to connect and link multiple Mirror Workflows to represent a complex user journey across an application or ecosystem. Workflows added to a simulation are automatically linked. SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. SCORM packages enable you to share web-based learning with ease and reuse it across different eLearning platforms.
