# Unable to capture screens using Mirror

## Issue

When you try to use Whatfix Mirror **Whatfix Mirror** to capture a screen in your application, the screen is not captured as expected.

## Probable Causes

- Whatfix Studio is unable to detect the element on the underlying application.
- The application might restrict Whatfix Studio to capture certain elements due to security concerns.
- Two different Whatfix Studio extensions are active at the same time.
- The Whatfix Studio extension is outdated.

## Suggested Solutions

- Clear your browser cache.
- Publish dummy content on your Whatfix Dashboard.
- Ensure that only one Whatfix Studio extension is active.
- Re-install the Whatfix Studio extension and try to capture the application screen again.
