Simulations serve as containers that hold multiple Mirror Workflows. Instead of presenting workflows in isolation, Simulations enable the connection of workflows, mimicking a real application environment. For instance, onboarding new employees to the Salesforce CRM system involves Workflow 1, which shows “How to create a Lead?” and Workflow 2, which demonstrates “How to create an Opportunity.” Workflows 1 and 2, which currently exist as individual workflows, can be added to a Simulation, and Whatfix Mirror automatically links the two workflows. A key component of Simulations is the automatic linking of workflows. When adding workflows to a Simulation, Whatfix intelligently connects them based on their content and context. This process utilizes technology that automatically establishes connections between relevant screens and steps within the Workflows. This automatic linking is enabled by default within a Simulation and is called Playground Mode. For more information, see [Playground Mode for Simulations](/mirror/docs/create-simulations-and-add-workflows#playground-mode-for-simulations). #### Workflow and Simulation Lifecycle: Draft, Ready, and Production The following workflow displays the actions you can perform at different stages on the Mirror dashboard: ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Mirror_Db_Stages.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T11%3A41%3A26Z&se=2026-10-29T12%3A41%3A26Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=j%2FArDOv9CYrItCMd%2BkoMrIYuwlM3ktu%2Fd3fyInJf%2FaI%3D) Read the following topics to learn how to manage Workflows and Simulations: - [Create Simulations and add Workflows](/mirror/docs/create-simulations-and-add-workflows) - [Publish Workflows and Simulations](/mirror/docs/publish-workflows-and-simulations) A feature that enables you to connect and link multiple Mirror Workflows to represent a complex user journey across an application or ecosystem. Workflows added to a simulation are automatically linked. A mode within Simulation that facilitates the connection and interaction of workflows within the simulated environment. Playground mode is enabled by default.
