# How to terminate an element from appearing on the app screen?

The standalone Whatfix Mobile elements such as Tooltip, Highlight, Beacon, Pop-up, and more can be configured to automatically stop appearing on the app screen based on certain **Element Termination** conditions. The element can be configured to never terminate or terminate after certain number of times.

### List of Element Termination conditions

The following are the **Element Termination** conditions:

**After 'n' sessions**: When you set this condition, Whatfix enables you to make the element appear on the app screen only for a particular number of times. The element disappears from the app's screen once your end user has closed the app, opened it, and then goes through the particular app screen for a set number of times. A session is defined as every time your end user closes the app and opens it again.
