# Attributes

An event is any action performed by a user within your application, such as clicking a button or completing a form. However, events alone offer limited context.

To gain deeper insights, Whatfix Product Analytics provides:

- Event Attributes to add context about the action
- User Attributes to add context about the person performing the action

Event Attributes enable you to capture additional contextual information such as the page title, URL, and more, alongside events. This extra context helps you perform better analysis and make informed decisions.
