Term | Description |
---|---|
Activity | Activity denotes the number of active users in the application compared to the expected optimal activity. It computes as the number of unique users in the application divided by the number of licenses procured. This metric contributes to the calculation of the Adoption score. |
Activity History | The Activity History displays the license upload history of the application, including the number of licenses added, the date of addition, the effective start date, and the effective end date of the license. This information appears only if license details are available for the application. |
Adoption metrics | Adoption metrics such as Average time spent, Median time spent, and more enable you to analyze the adoption or usage of an application. |
Adoption score | Adoption score is a metric that enables product owners to gain insights into user engagement with applications. Adoption score is calculated based on the following parameters: A: Activity in the application C: Completion rate |
Application | All enterprise applications or products whose usage or adoption requires analysis using the Enterprise Insights dashboard. |
Application utilisation % | Application utilisation % is calculated as the number of unique users who are using the application divided by the number of licenses procured. This metric enables you to understand the Return of Investment (ROI) of the applications. |
Average time spent/User | Average time spent/User calculates as the total time spent by a user on an application during a specific time period divided by the total number of users. |

Term | Description |

Completion rate | Completion rate refers to the process completion rate within the application. It is calculated from the most recent 10 Funnels created in an account, filtered by the created date. It is computed as the number of users who completed the last step in the Funnel divided by the number of users who completed the first step in the Funnel. This metric contributes to measuring the Adoption score. |
Custom Metrics | Custom Metrics include adoption metrics such as Unique users, Total Licenses, and more, enabling analysis of the adoption and usage of applications. Custom Metrics are available only in Summary Insights. |

Dashboards | Dashboards are a reporting feature that enables you to visualize your Trend and Summary Insights. They provide usage and adoption data across applications at a glance. |
Default events | Default events are all events generated for Whatfix content and widget interaction across applications. For more information, see List of Whatfix-related events. |
Default overview dashboard | Recommend a dashboard as the default overview dashboard for all Enterprise Insights (EI) users of an account. Other users in the account can select their own personal overview dashboard or view the default overview dashboard set by the administrator. |

Events | Events are triggered when your end users perform any action on the Whatfix content or widgets across applications. |
Event filter | Event filters in Trend Insights enable you to drill down default events based on different criteria. For example, you can analyze the number of users who completed the Flow called Onboarding across multiple applications. Default event name: Flow completed Event filter: Content Title (Name of the Flow) - Onboarding |
Event grouping | Event grouping enables you to group two or more Default (Whatfix-related) events for analysis and reporting. |
Event breakdown | Event breakdown in Trend Insights enables you to breakdown Default events further based on certain properties. For example, you can analyze the number of users who completed the Flow called Onboarding from various sources, such as Self Help, Pop-up, and more, across multiple applications. Default event name: Flow completed Event filter: Content Title (Name of the Flow) - Onboarding Event breakdown: Event Trigger Location |
Event Trigger Location | Event Trigger Location in Trend Insights enables you to select the location from which an event is triggered. For example, you can analyze the number of users who completed a Flow from Self Help in a particular application. Event Trigger Location: Widget (Self Help) |
Event trigger page URL | Events or metrics are filtered based on the URL at which they are triggered. For example, you can analyze the Adoption score of an application filtered by URL, that is, whatfix.com. |

Trend Insight | Trend Insight displays usage and engagement-related data for all Whatfix content and widgets across applications. This information appears in easy-to-understand visual formats. |

Term | Description |

Unidentified users | Unidentified users is a user filter present in Enterprise Insights. When you add this filter, the insight displays engagement data or metrics for users that Whatfix has not identified using their User ID. These users have cookie values instead of their actual User ID. |
Unique Users | Unique Users in Summary Insight denotes the total number of unique users logging into the application. |
User filter | The User Filter module enables filtering users who performed an event based on different criteria, such as country, city, browser, and more. For example, for the Flow start event, refine the results to show data only for users who triggered it from the Chrome browser or a specific location. |
User breakdown | The User Breakdown module enables breaking down users who performed an event based on different criteria, such as country, city, browser, and more. For example, for the Flow completed event with the User filter set to Chrome browser, configuring the Breakdown as City displays the chart based on all cities from which users completed the Flow using Chrome browser. |
User sentiment score | The User sentiment score provides a single score for all NPS surveys conducted in an application. This score enables understanding of end users' feedback or reviews from all NPS surveys conducted on a particular application. For more information, see Get User Sentiment score using Enterprise Insights. |
