Visualize Autocaptured events in User Journeys

Introduction
Whatfix enables you to identify, track, and save Autocaptured events. Track the paths that end users take on the application using Autocaptured events.
If you want to visualize the different paths that end users take and where they drop-off, Whatfix enables you to add the Autocaptured events to User Journeys and visualize the required data as a Sankey Chart.

Benefits of visualizing Autocaptured events using User Journey
User Journeys enable you to do the following:
View the different paths taken by end users in the application.
View high and low engagement points.
View drop-offs.
Apply User filters.
Export the data.
Use cases
Visualize the User Journey of end users who click the Create Lead button in Salesforce.
Visualize the User Journey of end users from European countries until they saved a contract in a Contract Lifecycle Management application.

Create a User Journey with an Autocaptured event as the Start point
Use the following steps to create a User Journey with an Autocaptured event as the Start point:
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Insights.

Click Create insights.

Click User Journey.

Click the Give your insight a name text box and enter a name for your Insight.

From the Select user type dropdown, choose whether to analyze data for All users, Identified users, or Anonymous users.
Note:- By default, Insights data may contain identified (users identified by User ID) and unidentified (users not identified but denoted by Anonymized Whatfix IDs) users.
- The Event identification rate indicates the percentage of events Whatfix is able to attribute to uniquely identified users.

To choose a starting point for visualizing the path end users take, choose the Start option.

To add the Autocaptured event for visualizing the User Journey, click Select Start point, and then click Custom events.

Select the Autocaptured event from the dropdown.

To add a different Start point, click Change Start point.

To filter the User Journey based on certain criteria, such as browser, or country, click Add user filter, and then select the required criteria.

Visualize the User Journey as a Sankey chart, as shown in the following image.

Note:
Choose to visualize a specific number of levels or actions.

By default, the number of levels is set to 4. You can track up to 10 levels.
The levels of interaction include the start page.
Change the timeframe as required. By default, Whatfix shows data for the last 7 days.

Click Summarize to generate an AI summary of the User Journey. The AI Summary helps you interpret the data more easily and understand key patterns. You need to enable Ask Whatfix AI (Beta) to get the AI summary.

Click Save.

Use the data gathered from User Journeys to create Whatfix guidance content or drive product improvements that help end users take the ideal path and also reduce drop-offs.
Create a User Journey with an Autocaptured event as the End point
Use the following steps to create a User Journey with an Autocaptured event as the End point:
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Insights.

Click Create insights.

Click User Journey.

Click the Give your insight a name text box and enter a name for your Insight.

From the Select user type dropdown, choose whether to analyze data for All users, Identified users, or Anonymous users.
