Web applications contain multiple underlying attributes, some associated with a user and others not. **Enterprise Attributes** represent application attributes that are not associated with the user. Examples include geography, department, account type, and more. --- ## Use cases Whatfix Enterprise Attributes enables you to fetch application information and use them in widget Visibility Rules for effective content segmentation. For example, configure a Pop-up to display only to users logging in from the EMEA region. Info: Use Enterprise Attributes for use cases where end-user related segmentation is not required. --- ## Create an Enterprise attribute Use the following steps to create an Enterprise Attribute: 1. On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click **Settings**. ![ia_pa_dashboard_settings](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/ia_pa_dashboard_settings.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T07%3A48%3A09Z&se=2026-10-29T08%3A48%3A09Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Lar7HXJhKI9rv66UWpmGR3TCD%2BHC2MjTdZhW%2BlNiJWI%3D) 2.
