Sometimes, when navigating a web application, certain elements may not be in the immediate viewable area of the screen. Whatfix actively monitors whether the element to which a Smart Tip is latched is visible within the user's current screen area, known as the viewport.
With Smart Tip Overflow, Whatfix enables you to hide the Smart Tips if the identified element is not displayed, becomes hidden, or is scrolled out of view. This ensures that all Smart Tips are contextually appropriate. This maintains a seamless and intuitive user experience, as it prevents widgets from pointing to elements that aren't visible, avoiding potential confusion for the user.
This configuration also affects Beacons and Launchers.
