Whatfix enables you to edit Smart Tips inside a collection during creation and post-creation.
You can make the following changes to a Smart Tip inside a collection:
- Smart Tip position
- Purpose
- Description
- Delete a Smart Tip inside a collection
You can edit Smart Tips in the following instances:
During Smart Tip creation
Use the following steps to edit Smart Tips inside a collection during Smart Tip creation:

On Studio, click the Smart Tip you want to edit.

Click Edit step to start editing the Tip.

Make changes to the Smart Tip, and then click Save Tip.

Post Smart Tip creation: Using Dashboard
Use the following steps to edit Smart Tips inside a collection after Smart Tip creation:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click Smart-tips.

Hover your cursor over the required Smart Tip collection, and then click the Edit icon.

Click Edit on the Smart Tip you want to edit.

Make the necessary changes to the Smart Tip, and then click Save Tip.

Click Save.
Post Smart Tip creation: Using Launch live edit
Use the following steps to edit Smart Tips post Smart Tip creation using Launch live edit:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click Smart-tips.

Hover your cursor over the required Smart Tip collection, and then click the Edit icon.

Click Launch live edit on the Smart Tip you want to edit.

Once the Studio launches on the application, click the Smart Tip you want to edit.

Click Edit step.

Make the necessary changes to the Smart Tip, and then click Save.

Click Save Tip.
