Whatfix enables you to delete Beacons that are no longer useful to you. Delete a single Beacon from the collection or the entire Beacon collection.
Note:
- Whatfix content and widgets can be deleted only in the Draft and the Ready stages.
- When you have a copy of content in Draft that also exists in Production, deleting the Draft version does not affect the content in Production.
Delete a Beacon from a Beacon collection
Use the following steps to delete a Beacon from a Collection:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
Click Beacons.
Hover your cursor over the required Beacon collection, and then click the Edit icon.
Go to the Beacon that you want to delete from the collection, and then click Delete.
Click Save.
Delete an entire Beacon collection
Deleting a Beacon collection removes all the Beacons created in that collection.
Use the following steps to delete an entire Beacon collection:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
Click Beacons.
Hover your cursor over the Beacon collection you want to delete, and then click the More icon.
Click Delete.
On the confirmation pop-up, click Delete.
Delete Multiple Beacon segments
Use the following steps to delete multiple Beacon segments:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
Click Beacons.
Select the Beacon segments you want to delete.
Click Delete content.
In the confirmation pop-up, click Delete all.
