QuickRead is an AI capability powered by Whatfix that provides summarized answers to your end users' search queries within the Self Help widget. Enable QuickRead from the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard.
Use the following steps to enable QuickRead from the Dashboard:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

Click Self Help.

Click Smart features.

In the QuickRead dropdown, enable the QuickRead toggle.

Enable the Collect feedback on responses toggle to allow end users to provide feedback on QuickRead responses.
- Click Save.
After enabling QuickRead, it takes time for QuickRead to process your repository links.
Until QuickRead finishes processing your repository links, they are not part of QuickRead's responses. However, existing repository links remain part of the search results.
Meanwhile, QuickRead generates responses based on other Whatfix content, such as Flows, Articles, and PDFs.
- If you had repositories integrated before you enabled QuickRead, it takes up to 48 hours for QuickRead to process every 2000 links.
- If you add a repository after enabling QuickRead, it takes up to 12 hours after your repository is crawled for QuickRead to process every 2000 links in your new repository. For more information about how long it takes to crawl a repository, see How many links can I crawl in a repository?.
Note:
After you enable QuickRead, use the Preview mode to test it on Self Help. You must do a push to Production for these changes to reflect for your end users.
