Currently, Whatfix Browser extensions are used to show DAP content on SAP SuccessFactors. However, the new script-based integration for SAP SuccessFactors enables you to switch to JSEmbed mode to display content to end users.
Tip:
Although Browser extension delivery method can still be used for SAP SuccessFactors, you can choose to switch to the JS embed delivery method for ease of usability, better control and to reduce IT dependency for management.
Use the following steps to switch from an extension delivery mode to JS Embed:
Step 1: Configure Map Stages in your account
Step 2: Configure script-based integration on SAP SuccessFactors
Step 3: Uninstall Browser Extension for all existing users
Configure Map Stages in your account
To embed the Whatfix JavaScript code in your SAP SuccessFactors account, you need to first enable JS Embed for your account. Reach out to support@whatfix.com to enable JS Embed.
Configure script-based integration on SAP SuccessFactors
Once you have enabled, you can configure script-based integration on your SAP SuccessFactors account. For more information, see Integrate Whatfix with SAP SuccessFactors using Javascript.
Uninstall Browser Extension for all existing users
Browser extension and the JS Embed integration cannot work simultaneously. Once you have configured JS Embed for SAP SuccessFactors, reach out to support@whatfix.com to uninstall the Browser extension for all users. This ensures that there are no content visibility conflicts.
