Unable to capture values from a drop-down menu

Issue:

When capturing an automated Flow, you may need to capture a value from a dropdown menu. However, selecting a value in the dropdown menu often causes it to close before you can capture the step.

Cause:

This issue occurs because the click used to select the dropdown value inadvertently closes the menu, leaving the captured value empty.

Solution:

To successfully capture the desired value from a dropdown menu:

1. Select the desired value in the dropdown menu.
2. Click on the corresponding element on the page to capture it.

This method enables Studio to accurately capture the dropdown value without closing the menu prematurely.

Ensure that the correct value is visible and selected before capturing the step.
