When you preview translated content in the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, only the text of your Whatfix content (such as tooltip text, buttons, labels, and more) is displayed in the translated language. The underlying screenshot of your application remains in the language in which it was originally captured. This is the expected behavior of translated Whatfix content.
The following image displays the preview of a Beacon translated into German while the background content remains in English:
If you want the background screenshot to also appear in the desired language during preview, you need to:
Change the language settings of your application's user interface (UI) to the target language you want to display in the screenshot.
Recapture the Whatfix Flow, Smart Tip, or other content on the application UI while it is set to the target language.
Translate the content and then preview the Whatfix content from the Translations page.
