Whatfix Analytics provide information about Flow failures, and Flow exits and it is important to understand the difference between the two.
Flow Fail
A Flow fails when the user is unable to use a Flow to complete a task. Flow failures could be because of the following.
- Flow is broken
- Flow Step does not display
For more information, see Flow does not run correctly.
Flow Exit
A Flow exit happens when a user deliberately chooses not to follow the Flow even though it is working correctly. Reasons that can result in a Flow being recorded as an exit are listed below.
Exited by clicking the 'X' close icon on tooltips.
Exited by navigating away - Branching to another Flow, closing the browser, browser tab, internet connectivity issues, system shut down, clicking the hyperlinks in the step description and moving to a new page (URL), etc.
Exited by Flow change- Starting another Flow before completing or closing the current Flow.
