Would the ID change if a copy of an existing Beacon is created?

Each content has a unique ID that is required for Advanced Customization (AC) and API integrations. When you create a copy of an existing Beacon, the new Beacon collection created will have a different unique ID.

  • You can view the copy of the Beacon ID in the URL of the Beacon. The last section in the URL is the ID of the Beacon.

In this case, the Beacon ID is 03b5a0a5-b2a3-4844-9e79-25ed57308a6e.

  • Editing the copied content or widget will not impact the original content or Widget.
