Whatfix enables you to add a link to an external source of content in the list of the content displayed in Self Help.
You can also integrate your existing Content Repository with Whatfix and display them as contextual links in Self Help.

Adding a link to Self Help is a two-step process:

Step 1 : Creating a link
Use the following steps to create a link,

Navigate to the Whatfix Dashboard.

Click Widgets.

Click the Self Help tile.

Click the segment you want to add the link to.

Under Create, click Link.

Enter the purpose of the link in the Display Text field.

Enter the link in the Link field.
If you have enabled Smart Context, all content created on your application is auto-tagged. However, static content (text, video, and links) is not created on your application, and you must add the global-page tag to display such content in the Self Help widget on your application. - Click Save.

Navigate to the Whatfix Dashboard.

Click Widgets.

Click the Self Help tile.

Click the segment you want to add the link to

Click Select.

Set the filter to LINK.

Hover the cursor over the link(s) you want to add and select using the checkbox and then click click Okay.

Click Save.
